Kayla has an amazing imagination. This afternoon she came up with this scenario . . . She was the mommy, and I was the little girl. She wanted to get in her van so that she could take me to her house in California. I have no idea how she even knows California is a place! On the way to California, we stopped to have a birthday party for Albert, Baby, Big Frog, the ladybug and Kayla. Playing with a 2 1/2-year-old is so much fun.
Edit: I remember now how Kayla came up with California. We picked up Sureka and Devmal (friends from Sri Lanka) for play group last week, and Sureka was talking about California. Kayla has good ears. 🙂
That is cute. I look forward to the stories. They put some cheer into my otherwise dull day. Ok so today wasn’t so dull. When I came home from work I could only find 1 slipper. One of my kittens likes to take one slipper down into the basement. 🙂 So you see I too get some fun in my day. But it’s still more fun having Kayla spend the day with Grandma.
