Green Play Dough

March 16, 2007 - By Jen

To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Kayla and I made green play dough today. It turned out really nice! Here’s the recipe:

Mix:

2 1/2 – 3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
1 tablespoon alum
1 or 2 packs of unsweetened kool-aid

Add:

3 teaspoons oil
2 cups boiling water

Knead entire mixture. Store in airtight container.
(Mixture will be warm to the touch during kneading.)

Wow I feel like you have been reading my mind. I was going to look up my recipe for homemade play dough. I was wondering if the homemade play dough colors the skin. So did Kayla have green hands?
