Kayla’s Pillow Game

August 24, 2007 - By Jen

Before Kayla’s nap today, she requested to play a game. I gave her four choices: Candyland, Memory, Go Fish, or Old Maid. Her choice: the pillow game she made up! It was really cute. First, Kayla lined up five pillows. Next she jumped on pillow #1 and then did a belly flop on the rest of them. She repeated this on each pillow, and then it was my turn. It was quite the game for a pregnant lady, let me tell you! Instead of flopping on my belly with the same force Kayla used, I lowered myself gracefully onto the pillows. She was satisfied. 🙂

She also turned the noun “pillow” into a verb. So here’s the definition for you:

To pillow means to forcefully throw yourself forward onto a pillow, landing on your belly.
