As we do every Thursday, the girls and I took a trip to Island Park this morning to hang out with other moms and kids from the community. We stopped by the Farmer’s Market and the Green Tree, and then we headed home. By the time we were home, however, I just didn’t quite feel like making lunch (we’re also low on groceries, so it would have been pbj’s for sure). We contacted Aaron at work and spontaneously planned a lunch trip to La Senorita. Through the Summer Reading Program at our local library, the girls had earned coupons for free kids’ meals. We enjoyed a nice meal, and then we stopped at the marching band field on the walk back to Daddy’s work. Madeline toddled all over the place, and Kayla ran through the sprinkler. It was fun for them to get some exercise in such a wide open space! After a quick trip to see some of Daddy’s cowokers, the girls and I headed home for naps. We accidentally drove off with the quesadillas on top of the van, so we probably make some squirrel very happy!
