Lately I’ve been making a lot of fruit smoothies in the blender, which Kayla appropriately calls “moo moo’s.” Tonight I asked Kayla if she’d like a smoothie, and she flipped out with excitement.
I was surprised by how patient she was while I assembled the ingredients and blended the smoothie. She was so excited that she kept squealing and jumping. She often jumps for things that she really wants, like milk. We’ll say, “Oh, Kayla wants some milk. Can Kayla jump for milk?” Then she’ll say “jump, jump,” and she’ll give her best effort to get off the ground. So tonight she was jumping for “moo moo’s.”
Here’s what I put in tonight’s smoothie:
frozen bananas
frozen blueberries
vanilla yogurt
orange juice
white grape juice concentrate
We also finally settled on the theme for the baby’s room: Froggy Tales! We both fell in love with it immediately when we saw it, but it’s a little pricey, so we tried to find something else. But after you like something that much, it’s hard to settle for something that’s significantly less cute. You can view the set at http://www.dreamtimebaby.com/froggytales.html. I love it!
