My Little Knitter

May 23, 2010 - By Jen

Kayla has been asking me to teach her to knit for a while now.  So the other night we worked on it.  She’s doing pretty well, and she can’t wait until she can make a dress for Madeline!  Here’s a picture of the little knitter:

Don’t you love the outfit?  When Aaron came home from work, she decided she wanted to dress like him!  🙂

She looks so grown up. What a pretty little lady. 🙂 Way to go, Kayla!

My comment was going to be exactly what Liz said — so grown up, so beautiful, and way to go! — to Kayla AND to Mommy.

Great picture. How neat that another generation is learning to knit. Knitting always reminds me of Grandma Pauline Mayes. She taught so many of us to knit. I’m sure that she is smiling down from Heaven as you teach Kayla to knit.
