My Roses

October 13, 2006 - By Jen

I don’t have a green thumb.  I’ve killed so many plants either by overwatering, underwatering, or some other unknown reason.  However, when you successfully nurse a plant to health, it makes you feel so good!

My mom gave us two rosebushes in the spring–one for Madeline’s birth and one for our anniversary.  Unfortunately they sat in their pots until the end of August, at which point they totally looked like they were going to die.  So one morning while Madeline was napping, Kayla and I went out to plant them.  I’ve been watering them ever since, and look what blossomed last week!

Ooh! Good job Jenni! That’s beautiful! I too have been slightly unsuccessful with plants. I finally got two that I have been able to maintain in my office at work. Let’s keep learning together 🙂

Beautiful. I’ll bet they smell as good as they look. 🙂
