Sam’s Club

March 14, 2007 - By Jen

Last night we all went to the new Sam’s Club here in Mt. Pleasant.  It was my first trip, Kayla and Madeline’s second, and Aaron’s third.  Not bad for only being open one week!  Aaron checked it out last Thursday for the grand opening (he said there were all sorts of tasty samples to enjoy), and then he took the girls there Friday night while I went to a baby shower.  Last night the four of us went together to compare prices and get an idea of what things we’d like to buy there.  Kayla’s semi-imaginary friends Caleb, Joshua and Austin sat next to her in the cart (they are actually friends from church, but the imaginary versions accompany us on all our family happenings).  Then, guess who we saw?  The real Caleb!  Kayla was so shy around him that she turned bright red, hid her face and leaned over in the cart.  She’s the most shy 2-year-old we’ve ever known.

That is great news. Remember the 3 pack of Silk soy milk. 🙂 Kayla is shy? What a surprise. She’s so funny.
