If you’re here, you’ve already heard or figured out that the new address for our site has switched to: http://kerrspot.com . We like the change…
And although we like the new domain name, it happened by accident. When a domain name you own is about to expire, you should receive a notice via e-mail 30 days before the expiration, allowing you to reserve the name for additional years. This is cheap…you can get a domain name for as little as $7/year.
However, when my notice got sent, our spam system here at the college apparently thought it was some kind of marketing e-mail and filtered it out as spam. Spam gets sent to a special folder in my e-mail, but since I get so much of it on a daily basis, I usually just delete it without checking it. Oops. Have to be a little more careful with that in the future.
