There are many great spots in this library to settle down. My current favorite is on the second floor, at a table next to a long wall of windows. My usual gear includes my laptop with wireless mouse, my iPod mini, my Bible, and something to drink. Unfortunately closed on Saturdays, Java City is on the first floor and makes a great carmel macchiato or cup of chai. I had to settle for a Pepsi today.
Another blessing about this library is that so many of my friends come here on a fairly regular basis. Most trips to the library mean bumping into someone from church to chat for a few minutes. One of my closest friends, Josh Hook, has a spot that he regularly inhabits over by a printer table not too far from my area. Sitting here with solo piano music running on my iPod gives me a great chance to think and unwind.
Well, I guess that’s all for now. Time to get back to the reading. 🙂
