Kayla turned 8-weeks-old on Monday, and she sure is growing and changing! She had a doctor’s appointment this week and now weighs in at 12 lbs, 1/2 oz. Wow! She’s in the 90th percentile for height and weight for girls her age, and we sure are thankful she’s so healthy.

This past weekend Kayla attended her first wedding. She slept through the whole ceremony, but she was there nonetheless.

The end of this pregnancy is near; we’re just not sure exactly when pregnancy will end and parenthood will begin. The doctor thinks it should happen anytime soon. Honestly, I’m kind of used to this “waiting” phase now. I think I’ll be pretty surprised when labor starts.

We’re almost there! This baby could come any day, or she could still arrive in several weeks. It’s funny not knowing the day, but Aaron and I take comfort in knowing that God’s timing is perfect.
