Our Five-Year-Old

May 30, 2009 - By Jen

Kayla turned five last Sunday!  It’s hard to believe!

Kayla is a gem.  Each day she touches our lives with her kindness, compassion, sense of humor, creativity and joy.  Not only is she well-behaved, but she also has a great heart.  We sure love this kid!

Here are a few pictures of Kayla over the years:

two-years-old

three-years-old

four-years-old

And now, here she is as a five-year-old with her amazing birthday cake (compliments of my mom).

Do you think she felt like a princess?  Thanks, Grandma!

That was neat the way you put the pictures of Kayla on this site. Looks like 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 yrs. old. How cute. Yes she is a wonderful child. She has grown through the love of God, her parents, grandparents and everyone who has had the joy of being a part of her life.

I’ve been looking forward to these pictures. I’ve checked your site several times, expecting they would be up soon. The cake looks pretty spectacular!

Thanks, Sue, for creating such a magical cake for Kayla. Because of sickness, we had waited a long time to celebrate a family birthday this year. You definitely made it worth waiting for! We love you, Princess Kayla.

Great cake Jen! You maybe should think about doing designer cakes more. 🙂
